The Antelope Valley College campus community is invited to the annual Taste of Soul event in celebration of Black History Month to experience the cultural and historical significance of soul food.
Local soul food chefs, restaurants, and caterers will be featured, offering an authentic taste of the rich culinary traditions passed down through generations.
Taste of Soul will also include storytelling, music, and presentations that explore the origins, evolution, and artistry of soul food. Learn about its roots in the African American community and how it has shaped culture.
Join us connect with others, celebrate diversity, and build unity on campus. Whether exploring new flavors or deepening understanding of African American culture, the Taste of Soul will highlight the power of food, music, and history to bring us together.
