Application

Applications are accepted throughout the entire academic year!

#1 - Complete the Honors Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) application here: AVC Honors Application.

  • If you recently graduated from high school, be sure to send a copy of your high school transcripts with the application.
  • If you have transcripts from another college, please send a copy of the transcripts with your application.
  • Everyone must complete a personal statement.
  • Email all documents to Towana Catley at towana.catley@avc.edu.

#2 - Once the application is processed, you will be invited via email to a brief Honors TAP orientation meeting. This orientation is mandatory for all newly accepted students.

#3 - After confirmation of orientation, you will be admitted to the Honors program.
