Counseling Appointment Guidelines for EOPS

3 Mandatory Counseling Appointments
As an EOPS student you are required to complete 3 mandatory counseling appointments each academic semester/term with an EOPS counselor. Students must complete 3 fall appointments and 3 spring appointments.

10-Minute Grace Period
Running Late? You have a ten-minute grace period to get to your EOPS appointment. For example, if your appointment is scheduled for 8 a.m., you must arrive no later than 8:10 a.m. If you arrive after the allotted grace period, you will not be seen and you will need to reschedule your appointment.

Missed Appointments

If you miss a scheduled appointment twice in one contact period, you will not be able to reschedule for a third time, and that appointment will then be considered a missed appointment. In addition, if you miss the first 2 appointments in a semester, you will be dropped to 'Services Only' (meaning you will receive basic services only, and no grants)

Note: Grants are awarded only after completion of your first appointment and will not be received until some time during the second counseling appointment period
