Office for Students With Disabilities: Student Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to provide the OSD Office with written verification of your disability and resulting educational functional limitations.
You are responsible for making your special needs known to your instructors, as soon as possible, thereby making it possible for you to work out any special accommodations that might be necessary.
If you experience any difficulty in your classes, you need to notify OSD staff as soon as possible so that we have the opportunity to work with you in resolving the issue.
OSD does not routinely notify instructors if they will be having a student with a disability in their class.It is important that disabled students learn to communicate directly with the instructor to express their needs and to establish a working relationship.OSD does notify some instructors regarding a student's needs, only with the students permission.
