The Antelope Valley College Art Gallery presents The Art of Nurit Avesar, an exhibition showcasing powerful exploration of construction and deconstruction. Avesar's work delves into the dynamic tension between destruction and creation, using layers of materials to reflect on themes of vulnerability, power and beauty. The exhibition will be on display through January 31, 2025. All AVC students, faculty and the community are invited to experience this thought-provoking collection.
An opportunity to meet and engage with Avesar will be held during the public reception, where the artist will discuss the creative process and the deeper meanings behind the work.
Admission to the gallery is free. Parking is $1.
