Voucher System

Student Health provides on and off campus health services to currently enrolled AVC students who are in one or more units each semester Vouchers are provided for Medical Emergencies and to be requested upon need. Students with Medical insurance are encouraged to use coverage prior to utilizing the voucher system.

Students can request vouchers by either completing a Basic Needs application or emailing from their AVC email to studenthealth@avc.edu with the following information: To obtain a Voucher send an Email to Student Health prior to scheduling an appointment or walk ins. You will receive a confirmation email with a review of what our vouchers cover. You would need to confirm with us after reading the review that you would like to continue to receive the voucher.

  • No medical or personal information is needed.

  • X-rays
  • Comprehensive Oral Exam
  • Routine Dental Cleaning

  • Eye Exams

Summit Urgent Care in Person Medical Services:

  • Evaluation and counseling for individual health problems
  • Family planning and gynecological health care for women
  • Sexually transmitted infection information and testing
  • Blood pressure screening
  • Immunizations
