Writing Support
The Learning Center offers services to support any of your academic writing needs, including writing assignments in any discipline, personal statements, and transfer applications. Learning Center faculty and experienced peer tutors provide academic support and workshops to help students in their writing at all stages, including brainstorming, drafting, revising and editing, and documenting sources in MLA or APA format.

Academic Skills & Communication Support
The Learning Center helps students develop academic skills that enhance their ability to succeed in college, such as time management and test preparation to public speaking and AI usage. Students can meet with experienced peer tutors and can attend faculty-led, scheduled workshops to help build their academic skills. Please see the full workshop schedule under the Academics Workshop tab.
Student Study Behavior Inventory Review (SSBI) sessions are held monthly in the Learning Center and are listed in the workshop schedule in the Academic Workshops tab. For credit, please arrive on time and bring your completed SSBI forms and student ID card.

Math Support
The Learning Center offers services to support all math and math-related classes (i.e., vocational). Students can meet with experienced peer tutors and can attend faculty-led, scheduled workshops to help develop math learning and study skills, receive assistance on homework assignments and test preparation, and clarify complex topics.
