AVC Housing Resources

Our Basic Needs Center works with students to identify, provide, and/or support housing options for our students facing homelessness or housing insecurity.

Housing Services Eligibility

  1. Housing services eligibility is determined after a student submits their Basic Needs Application. In order to qualify for Housing through AVC a student must meet the following requirements.
    • Be enrolled in the current semester
    • Not be receiving housing support from another agency
    • Be making academic progress according to their education plan
    • Submitted current year Financial Aid application (exceptions will be made for Dreamer/Undocumented, International, or Special Admit students)
  2. If a student meets eligibility requirements, our team will then contact the student via email or by scheduling an appointment to discuss situations on a case by case basis.
  3. Students will then be referred to a branch of our Housing program that best fits their need.
    • Please note that housing options are limited and our team does the best we can to assist students with the resources we have available.
