Counseling

YOU MATTER: As your AVC Counseling Department, we are committed to supporting student success, and offering value to our diverse campus community. You matter and AVC Counseling staff are here for you.

The Counseling Center is designed to support students in planning their educational programs, provide information on transfer, degree, and certificate requirements, offer career planning assistance, and help address personal challenges. Students are encouraged to make an appointment with a counselor after applying to AVC. 

AVC Counseling offices are now open. Services offered: one-on-one academic counseling sessions, walk-ins, and in-person express counseling. Appointments can be booked via phone, email, or in-person at 661-722-6300 x6338 or counseling@avc.edu

Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7:30am to 6:00pm, Fri: 7:30am to 11:30am, Closed Tuesdays from 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Walk-In Hours: Mon-Thurs: 10:00am to 4:00pm
