STAR: Eligibility

Eligibility is determined by federal guidelines. You are eligible to be a part of the program if:

• neither of your parents (or adult care giver) graduated from a four-year college
• are U.S. citizenship or resident alien status
• you have documented financial need, and/or a documented disability.
• you are currently enrolled in courses that promote progress toward degree completion and/or transfer

The program is funded to serve 160 students who are: obtaining at least a 2 year certificate program, an Associate degree and/ or transferring to a four-year institution.
