Join the MESA Program to Unlock Your Path to Success in STEM

The MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, and Science Achievement) program is now accepting applications for students pursuing math-based and science majors with plans to transfer to a four-year institution. 

MESA provides support to help students develop the academic and leadership skills necessary to successfully transfer, graduate, and earn a degree in fields such as mathematics, engineering, or the sciences. 

To be eligible for the MESA program, you must: 

  • Declare a transfer major in a calculus-based math or science field 

  • Proven financial need (e.g. complete the Federal Financial Aid Application) 

  • Are a first-generation college student 

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident 

  • Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher 

  • Enroll in 5 or more units during the Spring and Fall terms 

To apply, pick up an application from the MESA Center (UH272). Once completed, return your application to the MESA Center by the end of the day on Monday, March 24.
