Communication Studies Day at AVC to Highlight the Communication Field
Communication Skills

Antelope Valley College students are invited to Communication Studies Day, an event designed to introduce students and the local community to the associate in arts for transfer (AA-T) degree in Communication Studies and the career opportunities it offers. The event will feature an informative session about the degree, followed by a keynote speaker presentation and a student-alum panel discussion.

Keynote speaker Lawrence Mason III brings a decade of expertise in executive communications and storytelling, sharing his personal journey and the essential skills for success in the field.

Following Mason’s presentation, a panel discussion featuring AVC students and alumni will provide further insight into the Communication Studies major, highlighting the real-world applications and professional pathways that the program offers.
