How to Schedule Your EOPS Counseling Appointment
EOPS Students are now able to schedule their own counseling appointments via ESARS by using the ESARS link.
If you are an EOPS student, the link to schedule your own appointment will be emailed to you just prior to the beginning of a semester, and then subsequently throughout the semester just prior to each counseling contact period.
Click on the ESARS link and it will take you to the EOPS Counselors' available schedules where you can schedule one appointment for that contact period only.
You are able to schedule an appointment up until 48 hours prior to the date/time you require. Make sure you schedule your appointment in advance, and not last minute, as you may not get the date/time you would like. Appointments have the option of being in-person, by phone, or online via Cranium Café.
Very Important: All students are assigned to EOPS Counselors by last name (unless otherwise notified by EOPS staff). You must make sure to schedule with your own counselor, according to your last name. If you schedule with the incorrect counselor, your appointment will be cancelled and will have to be rescheduled. Please make sure to refer to the information below to see who your counselor is, if you don't already know.
Remember, scheduling your appointments and showing up for them on time is now completely your responsibility. As you are aware from the EOPS Orientation and Mutual Responsibility Contract, all EOPS students are required to complete a total of three EOPS counseling appointments each semester. If you miss a scheduled appointment twice in one contact period, you will not be able to reschedule for a third time, and that appointment will then be considered a missed appointment. Missing appointments can result in the loss of grants and other program opportunities, and may lead to a suspension or termination from the program.
Once your appointment has been scheduled, you will receive an appointment confirmation via email/text. If you find you need to cancel/reschedule you will not be able to do so via ESARS. Instead, please call the EOPS office at 661-722-6300 ext. 6363 and we will be happy to assist you.
