Fall 2024 Semester Marks Highest Number of President/Dean’s List Students at AVC
Antelope Valley College Honors Students at the Spring 2024 Honors Convocation

Antelope Valley College continues to see a steady rise in student achievement, with the fall 2024 semester marking the highest number of students earning spots on the President’s and Dean’s Lists.

According to coordinators of the Honors Transfer Alliance Program (TAP), a total of 1,205 students were honored for academic excellence during the fall 2024 semester, a significant increase from 858 students in fall 2021. This steady upward trend reflects growing enrollment and the consistent improvement in student performance across semesters.

The increase in students on these lists highlights the commitment to academic excellence at AVC. As the college grows, the focus remains on providing resources and support to help students succeed, resulting in more students achieving the high GPAs necessary to earn recognition.

Students looking to further enhance their academic journey can consider joining AVC's Honors Transfer Alliance Program (TAP). Honors TAP offers a range of benefits, including priority registration, smaller class sizes, and priority admission to four-year universities. These advantages help ensure that students are well-prepared for transfer and future success.
