Learn a potentially life-saving skill with a seminar and training session focused on Narcan, a medication used in the event of a drug overdose.
In response to the need for overdose prevention education, Student Health and Wellness will be offering two important events:
Narcan Q&A Session: Join a Q&A session where attendees can learn more about Narcan, its uses, and how it can save lives during an overdose situation. This informative session will provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about this critical tool.
Narcan Training: Participants will receive instruction on how to properly administer Narcan in the event they encounter someone who has overdosed. This training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to potentially save a life.
Being prepared for an emergency situation is crucial, and having Narcan training could make all the difference when seconds count.
Students and staff are invited to take advantage of these free educational opportunities to help create a safer environment for our community.
