The Antelope Valley College Book Club, previously known as Read to Succeed (RtS), has rebranded to AVCReads.
This new identity reflects the commitment to creating a connected and engaged community, all brought together by the joy and shared experience of reading. Dive into a world where every page turned is a step closer to building a community and broadening horizons.
Throughout spring semester students, staff and faculty can join AVCReads to read "The Perfect Storm" by Sebastian Junger, a nonfiction novel which explores the relationship between man and nature when a fisherman faces a storm in the Atlantic Ocean.
Join us for three engaging sessions of AVCReads, featuring a Read Aloud, Movie Viewing, and Multi-Discipline Discussion, as we cultivate vibrant and intellectually stimulating environments for all participants.
