In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, Antelope Valley College, in partnership with the Erick A. Garcia You Are Enough Foundation, is set to present a screening of the documentary “The Listeners.”
This documentary follows suicide hotline volunteers and their role in saving lives through empathy and active listening.
Following the film will be a Q&A session of a panel of volunteers from the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, along with other community members, offering deeper insights into the world of suicide prevention.
Join us for an evening of learning, reflection, and community support as we work together to raise awareness and prevent suicide.
