Marketing Request Form
AVC Marketing and Public Information is introducing a new way of supporting campus departments. Our goal is to use various communication methods (i.e. digital, print, email) to help you achieve your department goals. To accomplish this, we would like to talk with you, hear about your goals and needs, and discuss a strategy for how to best help you achieve them. The first step is filling out the Marketing Project Request Form.
The Marketing and Communications Production Process
- Provide draft text and suggested art/image files with key details (what, when, where, how, why).
- Marketing reviews, edits, and rewrites language to comply with AVC’s Style Guide and AP Style.
- Marketing provides requestor with draft text to review and approve prior to design.
- Once text is reviewed and approved by requestor, Graphic Artist begins layout and design.
- Graphic Artist designs file and provides mockup for review.
- Requestor reviews mockup for accuracy and provides minor edits.
Important note: Because of design standards, the Graphic Artist might not be able to make requested changes to the “look and feel.”
- Graphic Artist makes requested edits and delivers final file.
- At this stage, requestor might have 1-2 minor edits, but comprehensive changes are no longer appropriate and providing piecemeal edits from various parties will only delay the project.
