Celebrating Black History Month

Antelope Valley College students are invited to attend two events at the Palmdale Center in celebration of Black History Month.

Movie viewing on Wednesday, February 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Students can stop by the Student Commons to watch The Six Triple Eight during Black History Month Movie Day, with the film streaming throughout the day.

Black History Month Discussion Panel on Thursday, February 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

AVC will host a Black History Month Panel Discussion at the Student Commons, where students, faculty, and staff will share their experiences and engage in a Q&A to build community and connections.

Join us to promote understanding, solidarity, and awareness, as well as to celebrate the rich history of Black Americans.
