Through programs like Fresh Success, we connect students to benefits such as CalFresh, allowing them to focus on their education without the added stress of meeting work requirements. Our goal is to ensure every student has the support they need to thrive academically and meet their basic needs.

Fresh Success is a California State program designed to support students receiving CalFresh benefits. Through this program, eligible full-time students can meet the CalFresh work requirements by counting their full-time units instead of the 20-hour work week requirement.
How to Apply
To apply for the Fresh Success program, students can either apply on the webpage or schedule an appointment with a CalFresh representative who will be available on campus to assist with enrollment. Assistance is provided by appointment only.
