ServSafe Certified

ServSafe®

AVC Extended Learning offers managers and employees at food service establishments and vendors opportunities to train their staff in accordance with an approved certified Food Handler Program.

Managers can enroll in the ServSafe® Food Manager’s First-Time and Re-Certification Training and Assessment Course that allows them to obtain or renew their five year certification that allows them to deliver consistent CA State required food safety training to their employees.

Employees can obtain or update their required three year certification by enrolling in the Food Handler Card course. This training will focus on the five key areas of Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-contamination and Allergens, Time and Temperature, and Cleaning and Sanitation.

Individuals wishing to take the ServSafe® Exam only, can schedule an appointment for a proctored exam.
