Foundation Scholarships: Dr. Charles Lee, O.D. Memorial Scholarship - Palmdale West Kiwanis Club (Osher)

Palmdale West Kiwanis is pleased to provide an Osher Scholars Scholarship to a deserving Antelope Valley College student to help contribute to their educational success.

Kiwanis International is a worldwide community service organization with more than 300,000 members.  Their motto is “We build” and their major emphasis is with young children.  They serve our communities in work projects and with scholarships such as the one we are awarding today.

Who can apply

  • Continuing AVC Student with 24 or more “degree applicable” units
  • Must be enrolled at least Part-Time(6 Units)
  • Must be receiving Board of Governors(BOG) Fee Waiver
  • Minimum G.P.A. required: 3.0

Award amount based on student enrollment status:

  • $1,000 Full-time
  • $750 ¾ time
  • $500 ½ time
