We want to thank all of our CARE students for attending our Self CARE Retreat at the Hellenic Center in Lancaster on Friday, March 22.

Students participated in financial and budget workshops through Schools First Credit Union, learned skills on practicing mindful self compassion from Dr. Christina Dawber and developed skills to better communicate their thoughts and ideas to clients, friends and family.

April 2024

Our Students on the Move event celebrated with a graduation celebration luncheon and certificates of acknowledgement.

With NextUp and Guardian Scholars we held our “Project Blue” CommUNITY Resource Fair. Dozens of local organizations came to provide information on support and resources in the Antelope Valley. We also offered TAY (Transitional Age Youth) and foster youth support information.

Seven of our students took part in our UCLA STOMP Conference trip. Students learned information about UCLA’s admission process, financial aid application and support, transfer pathways and the value of a UC education.
