Mission Statement
The Mission of the Veterans Resource Center is to provide assistance through education, certification, and guidance to active duty servicemembers, reservists, veterans and their dependents in achieving their educational objectives and to effectively promote the retention, graduation, and transfer of our student population.

AVC is a Title IV school and thereby abides by the readmission policy for servicemembers. The readmission requirements apply to servicemembers who perform service in the uniformed services, whether voluntary or involuntary, in the Armed Forces, including service as a member of the National Guard or Reserve, on active duty for training, or full-time National Guard duty under Federal authority (but not State authority), for a period of more than 30 consecutive days under a call or order to active duty or more than 30 consecutive days.
