Three young virtuoso soloists join the Antelope Valley Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, April 5 in the AVC Performing Arts Theatre. The "Stars of Tomorrow" program features movements from three of the most exciting concertos in the orchestral repertoire. The 8 p.m. concert includes first movements from Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 in E Minor, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, and Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto. Opening the concert is Beethoven's Leonore Overture No. 3. A 7 p.m. curtain raiser features winners of the AVSOMC Bach Competition performing solo works of Johann Sebastian Bach.

The AV Symphony Orchestra combines AVC students, community members, and professional musicians.
