How to Get Your Priority Registration Date & Time

Antelope Valley College is going green and will no longer mail registration appointment postcards to students.

Students must go online to check their priority registration date & time. All Registration times will be available online beginning June 3.

How? Log in to your myAVC account.  The "Registration Appointment - Fall 2010" link will take you directly to your appointment time for Fall 2010.

Don't see an appointment time?  Check the Did you know? section below for more information.

Did you know?

  • You should login to your myAVC account before your registration time.  This way, if you encounter problems logging in, you can get help.  You can get answers to general questions from the Welcome Center at 661-722-6331 and access issues from the myAVC Technical Assistance at 661-722-6300 ext. 6605.
  • Students receive priority registration times if they have attended AVC in the past year or have completed an admission application by the deadline. Check out registration deadlines and other important dates on the Admissions & Records home page.
  • AVC has Priority Registration and Open Registration.  Check out the Order of Priority Registration for the priority registration groups.  New and returning students that did not apply by the deadline will register during Open Registration.
  • You cannot register in a course once the course shows as CLOSED.  Keep checking the Lookup classes link for open courses or to see if a seat opens up in a course.
  • AVC now has Add Authorization Codes (AAC).  Check out the AAC web page to learn about how codes are used. AAC codes are used to add after the course begins.  AAC are given to the student by the instructor of the course if there are available seats.
  • Having a hold on your account can prevent you from registering in classes.   Check your registration status before your registration time.
  • Once your registration time begins, you will be able to register in open classes until the day before the class begins.  Online registration is quick, easy, and can be done at any computer with Internet access.
